Week 1 - 1. Read Articles and check out previous year's senior project on similar topic
    a. Non-Invasive In Vivo Characterization of Breast Tumors Using Photon Migration Spectroscopy
    b. Broad bandwidth frequency domain instrument for quantitative tissue optical spectroscopy
Week 2 - 1. Read Articles about heterodyning.
2. Search component
3. Create presentation
Week 3 - 1. Met with Dr. Tromberg
2. Found more parts for transmission side
3. Study pin information of chips found.
Week 4 - 1. Found laser diode driver
2. Found downconverter
3. Found envelope detector
Week 5 - 1. Found VCO
2. Wireless Local Loop diagram by Maxim
Week 6 - 1. Created new block diagram for mini-FDPM
2. Identified commercially available chips for each component
Week 7 - 1. Start drawing schematics using OrCAD
Week 8 - 1. Met with Prof. Payam Heydari for RF PCB Design
Week 9 - 1. Received Evaluation board for AD8302
Week 10 - 1. Schedule an appointment with Albert to use lab equipments.
   
Summer '02  
Week 1 - 1. Met with Dr. Albert Cerussi and set up lab space.
Week 2 - 1. Test eval boards.
2. Need to find another program for schematic design.
Week 3 - 1. Try programs on Microprocessor eval board.
2. Found manual for Intel 8051 Microprocessor.
Week 4 - 1. Read Cygnal's datasheet and start programming the microprocessor
Week 5 - 1. Read Cadence Composer's help to draw schematics and begin drawing.
   
Fall '02  
Week 1 - 1. Met with our new members of Mini-FDPM group.
Week 2 - 1. Order more samples for board.
Week 3 - 1. Learn about Smith Chart and impedance matching.
Week 4 - 1. Found more articles RF PCB design
Week 5 - 1. Compile list of other passive components to purchase
Week 6 - 1. Found VCO that runs from 1.35GHz to 2.45GHz
Week 7 - 1. Finished schematic for 900MHz board
