Killer NIC
This is an interesting usage of TCP and application offloading, games!!.
Several years a go, "people" started to look at offloading for sever applications, embeding TCP and Apache into the NIC. Then they started to look at offloading storage protocols like RDMA into the NIC...now it is games, who else will pay $200 bucks for minimal speedup...
