What is IMPACCT?

IMPACCT is a CAD tool for exploring power management architectures and policies at the component, system, and (in the future) network levels. The goal is to achieve an order of magnitude improvement in power/performance for mission critical systems.

System-level hardware/software codesign tool to enable design space exploration of power management policies & mechanisms. This is made possible by the use of explicit high-level coordination knowledge as composition operators that correlate the power/function modes of power-aware components.
